Jobst Anti-Embolism stockings are specially designed to reduce the risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), Varicose Veins or Edema.

As with all compression hosiery, Anti-Embolism stockings apply graduated compression. With compression stockings, this is highest at the ankle and gradually decreasing up the leg. This has the effect of improving blood flow and helping to reduce the risk of clotting.

Anti-Embolism stockings are designed for use by people who are bedridden or otherwise immobile for prolonged periods of time.
It is important to select the correct size. Measure around the widest part of your calf and the length of the leg from floor to the top of the thigh.
